Recognizing and Understanding ASD
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a complex neurodevelopmental condition that can involve differences in social interaction, communication, and patterns of behaviour and interests.

Presentation varies from person to person and can include a wide range of strengths, support needs, and levels of daily-life impact.

Clear identification and understanding of ASD can support effective planning, accommodations, and intervention.
At Ready Psych Go, we offer comprehensive ASD assessments for children, adolescents, and adults in Minnesota.

Understanding the Why Behind Your Challenges
Psychological assessments serve a crucial purpose in identifying the root causes of an individual’s presenting concerns. They help guide effective next steps, including accurate diagnoses and appropriate treatment planning.
The benefits of assessment extend beyond immediate needs, providing individuals with a valuable blueprint for navigating daily life. With a meticulous evaluation and written report, individuals can gain insight into possible contributors to stress, trauma, or other psychological challenges.

Our assessments also offer a framework for understanding and addressing neurodevelopmental differences such as ADHD, learning disorders (for example, dyslexia and dyscalculia), intellectual functioning, and cognitive giftedness.

PROCESS
How the ASD Assessment Works
To begin the assessment process, we start with an in-depth intake session. This allows us to gather detailed information about developmental history and current concerns.

We then administer a series of measures tailored to the individual’s age and needs. These may include evaluation of social communication, adaptive functioning, behaviour patterns, and cognitive functioning.
Our team includes experienced psychologists who specialize in neurodevelopmental assessment. We use a multidisciplinary approach that may include interviews, observations, and standardized measures to build a comprehensive understanding of each individual’s unique needs.

At Ready Psych Go, we believe that an accurate diagnosis can be a meaningful first step toward improved quality of life and more effective support.

Our assessments extend beyond diagnosis and aim to provide practical insights and recommendations for personalized interventions and support strategies.

We emphasize collaboration with individuals, families, and other professionals involved in care to support a plan that reflects strengths, needs, and goals.
