Group Therapy

Ready Psych Go offers in-person sessions in Minnetonka and virtual group psychotherapy options. Our groups provide a structured, supportive environment where individuals can build practical skills, strengthen connections, and work through shared challenges.

Supportive Group Therapy for Shared Growth

In our small group therapy sessions, you will have the opportunity to share your experiences, hear from others, and gain new perspectives in a structured setting.

Our groups are designed to support personal and professional growth, helping participants build communication skills, increase confidence, and work toward meaningful goals.

Group therapy provides a confidential and supportive space to develop practical coping strategies, strengthen connections, and apply new skills in real time.

Understanding the Why Behind Your Challenges

Psychological assessments serve a crucial purpose in identifying the root causes of an individual’s presenting concerns. They help guide effective next steps, including accurate diagnoses and appropriate treatment planning.

The benefits of assessment extend beyond immediate needs, providing individuals with a valuable blueprint for navigating daily life. With a meticulous evaluation and written report, individuals can gain insight into possible contributors to stress, trauma, or other psychological challenges.

Our assessments also offer a framework for understanding and addressing neurodevelopmental differences such as ADHD, learning disorders (for example, dyslexia and dyscalculia), intellectual functioning, and cognitive giftedness.

APPROACH

Practical Tools for Better Mental Health

Our group therapy sessions focus on topics such as managing stress, anxiety, depression, panic disorder, and substance use, among others. Other areas of focus may be more general, such as improving social skills and working through personal challenges like anger or low self-esteem. Some of these skills may be practised through role-playing real-life social scenarios.

We incorporate evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioural skills, mindfulness, and real-life exposure to provide practical tools that extend beyond the therapy setting.
