Fees & Payment

Fees

We strive to maintain financial transparency across all services. Fees are charged directly to the client and are due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged (e.g., in-network insurance). Additional services, such as forms, letters, or extended coordination of care, may involve separate fees.

Assessments

Assessment fees vary depending on the type and scope of the evaluation. Following an initial inquiry, detailed pricing will be provided via email or phone once we have a clearer understanding of the referral question and service needs.

Individual Psychotherapy
Fees for individual psychotherapy are listed on each clinician’s booking page, allowing you to review rates prior to scheduling.

Other Therapy Services
Fees for additional therapy services (e.g., group, couples, and family therapy) are outlined on the corresponding service pages when available, as offerings may vary based on clinician availability and demand.

Payment for Service

For psychological assessments, fees are due upon completion of the assessment unless otherwise agreed upon in advance. Payment is expected the same day of completion. An invoice will be sent upon completion of the assessment and prior to the feedback session.

For therapy services, fees are due the day of the session unless otherwise arranged. An invoice will be sent on the day of the session.

Deposits

Assessment Services

A $500.00 deposit is required to reserve an assessment appointment. This deposit is applied toward the total assessment fee and will be deducted from the final invoice. The remaining balance is due prior to the feedback session and release of the report.

Upon completion of the assessment and full payment of all fees, clients will receive an itemized invoice outlining the services provided, which may be submitted to an insurance provider for potential reimbursement. The initial deposit is not typically eligible for separate submission, though it is included in the final invoice once the assessment is complete.

Psychotherapy Services

A $100.00 deposit is required to reserve a psychotherapy appointment. This deposit is applied toward therapy fees and will be deducted from the session cost.

Following each session, clients will receive an itemized invoice outlining the services provided, which may be submitted to an insurance provider for potential reimbursement. The initial deposit is not typically eligible for separate submission, though it is included in the final invoice once services have been rendered.

Group Therapy Services

A $200.00 deposit is required to reserve a place in group therapy. This deposit is applied toward group therapy fees and will be deducted from the cost of services.

Please note that group therapy is offered as a structured service with limited space. By registering, you are reserving a place in the group. If you withdraw after the group has begun or discontinue participation early, you may be responsible for the full group fee or a prorated portion, depending on the circumstances and the structure of the group.

Payment Methods

An invoice will be sent via Square, where you can complete payment. This is the preferred method, as it allows for secure and convenient same day payment by credit card, debit card, and contactless (NFC) options such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Larger organizations, or some clients, may opt for ACH bank transfer through Square to reduce processing fees.

There is an additional 3.00% surcharge for credit card payments, where permitted by law.

For convenience, we also accept payment by cash, check, Zelle, and Venmo. If choosing to pay via a method outside of Square, clients are responsible for ensuring that payment is completed in full on the day it is due and are asked to include the invoice number in the payment memo. Please avoid including any clinical or identifying health information in the transaction.

Insurance

Services are primarily provided on a private pay basis. A superbill can be provided for potential out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your insurance plan. Coverage and reimbursement are not guaranteed, and clients are responsible for confirming their own benefits.

Some clinicians within the practice offer limited in-network options. Availability varies by provider and is reviewed during intake. Coverage, authorization, and reimbursement are determined by your insurance provider, and any portion not covered remains the responsibility of the client.

Assessment services, including mental health, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning, neuropsychological, integrated, and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) evaluations, are typically provided on a private pay basis. Many insurance plans may offer out-of-network reimbursement, and a superbill can be provided upon request. In select cases, in-network options may be available and can be discussed where appropriate.

Therapy services, including individual, couples, family, and group therapy, are also typically provided on a private pay (out-of-network) basis. Out-of-network reimbursement may be available depending on your plan.

Cancellation & Missed Appointment

Assessment appointments require a minimum of one week’s notice to cancel or reschedule. If notice is provided with less than one week’s notice, a cancellation fee of $500.00 may be charged. If notice is provided within 48 hours of the appointment, an additional $500.00 may be charged, for a total cancellation fee of up to $1,000.00. Appointments missed without notice may be charged at the full assessment fee.

Psychotherapy appointments require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may be charged the full session fee, with the exception of group therapy, which follows a separate cancellation and attendance policy.

Missed appointments and late cancellations are not covered by insurance and remain the responsibility of the client.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of services under the No Surprises Act. You may request this estimate prior to beginning services or at any time during care.
