My name is Breanna Klann (she/her), I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work, and I am an LGSW (Licensed Graduate Social Worker). I am committed to assisting clients with identifying and reaching their goals, while decreasing or eliminating problem behaviors. I am a strengths-based therapist, who believes that people often have difficulty seeing the good in themselves when they seek therapy, and I want to help them find that again.

I am trained in DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), and have experience with RO-DBT (Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy). DBT is a great modality for those who identify with difficulty regulating their emotions, unstable relationships, and a history of self-harm or suicidal ideation. RO-DBT is also a great modality for these concerns, but for the clients who identify as more over-controlled. These clients may have relationship difficulties more often because of unmet expectations or perfectionism they have for themselves, as opposed to outward emotional dysregulation.

In 2015, I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Dependency and Community Psychology, and have been an LADC (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor) since the beginning of 2016. I have therapy experience in residential, outpatient, and correctional settings. I have also worked with families and couples.

I have worked with men, women, non-binary, and trans clients from many walks of life, in many different settings. I am an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community and enjoy meeting with clients from all backgrounds and experiences. I am looking forward to the opportunity to work with clients who are looking for an assessment or looking to build a long-term therapist-client relationship to achieve goals and improve their quality of life. I am a firm believer that the client is in control of their goals, and I am just here to assist them in reaching those and identifying any possible barriers.

Outside of providing therapy, I enjoy spending time with my partner and our dog, watching the PWHL (Go Frost!) and doing crafts and jigsaw puzzles.
